eBEYONDS Moves into New Premises in Pannipitiya

Marking a significant landmark in our corporate journey, eBEYONDS has moved into new premises in Pannipitiya in the High-Level road.

The inaugural ceremony was held on November 19, 2010 with the participation of CEO and Directors of eBEYONDS, staff and a small number of distinguished guests. At the auspicious time of 6.03 a.m., Mr. Sajith de Silva, our CEO, declared open the new premises.

After lighting the traditional oil lamp in the newly-furbished visitors` lobby, a ceremonial milk-pot was boiled inside the room adjoining the main work-floor. As the foamy, snowy milk began to boil over the brim of the new clay pot, promising exuberance and prosperity for years to come, the onlookers watched the spectacle with a spirit of fascination.

Shortly afterwards, a few Buddhist monks arrived at the new premises to officiate the ceremony. After a brief sermon sprinkled with anecdotes, the chief prelate invoked the blessings of the Noble Triple Gems for the success and prosperity of eBEYONDS for years to come. This was followed by a brief Pirith chanting. Seated on the rush mats over main work-floor, all the gathering raptly listened to it. At the end of it, all the participants drank the blessed pirith water and got the pirith threads tied around their right wrists.

The guests and the staff helped themselves to a delicious breakfast including milk-rice, banana, cake and a host of other traditional Sri Lankan sweet delicacies followed by tea. The ceremonial supper marked the end of the momentous event.

The new premises of eBEYONDS sitting atop a newly-erected building, fronting the High Level Road boast greater space and ultra-sophisticated facilities and are far better equipped to provide our clients with the digital marketing solutions.

www.risis.com, an eCommerce website eBEYONDS developed for RISIS, a reputed gifts & souvenir manufacturer based on Singapore, went live on July 26 2010. The site took plenty of efforts by the designers and developers over a long period of time. Visually attractive & technically sound, risis.com is a great achievement for eBEYONDS.

When Risis wanted to revamp its website, eBEYONDS gladly took on the challenging task of designing an eCommerce website which would successfully meet the international standards. Having carefully weighed the requirements of the client, eBEYONDS designers got down to the job and came up with a superb design, which enhanced with flash, would look nearly perfect.

The PHP team was entrusted with the harder job of fixing the shopping cart. Having selected Zencart, the widely-used open source shopping cart, eBEYONDS PHP team customized it to meet the client`s requirements. Once this was through, they fixed the back-end of the site and went on to develop the dynamic product pages along with web developers.

Throughout the project, RISIS closely monitored the developments as they occurred. eBEYONDS itself subjected the entire process to thorough scrutiny all the way never overlooking the minutest detail. Stress was repeatedly laid on security, as it was an integral part of a good eCommerce website. eBEYONDS stuck to the philosophy that one could never be too cautious. All the preparations, all the comments, all the extra efforts led to a wonderful website, a perfect blend of aesthetic beauty and technical accuracy.

Official Website to Promote Hambantota's Bid to Host Commonwealth Games in 2018 Launched

www.hambantota2018.com, a website designed and developed by eBEYONDS (pvt) Ltd under the patronage of Ministry of Sports, to internationally promote Hambantota`s bid to play host to Commonwealth Games in 2018 was launched during the Queen’s Baton Relay hand-over ceremony in the evening of June 19, 2010. The event was organized by the Sports Ministry to hand over the Queen’s Baton to Delhi2010 games officials at Sugathadasa in-door stadium.

Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sports Minister Hon. C.B. Rathnayake, Indian High Commissioner, Secretary to the Sports Ministry, President National Olympic council, Attorney General, top officials, prominent sports personalities and many other guests. The website was officially launched by the Sports Minister Hon. C.B. Rathnayake.

The website carrying a wealth of information on the district of Hambantota, on the development programmes currently underway in the region, and on Sri Lanka makes a strong appeal to the Commonwealth nations to support and endorse Hambantota`s bid for Commonwealth Games in 2018. Already, there is positive evidence that Hambantota will win this bid.

www.myoakhall.com Gets a Face-lift

Oakhall, a premier residential community in US, is located close to Cool Springs, interstate connections. Surrounded by great schools, it is one of the best places for families to settle down in and enjoy the cozy comforts of home.

Oakhall used to have a website that was poorly developed and static and would have little appeal to the visitors. eBEYONDS took on the challenge of giving a face-lift to it.

A Standard eCommerce Platform for Anapuri
