Technical Project Manager

Required Skills & Experience

For the position of Technical Project Manager, a background in software engineering is preferred to understand the project's technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis, planning, requirement documentation, functional model building, procedure development, functional architecture development, and other associated management and technical tasks
• Work with the technical leads to put together a project plan - resource plan and development schedule
• Carry out daily project management and scrum master duties for the assigned projects
• Track project progress against the plans and report progress, variances, and issues status
• Support and coach Scrum team on Agile Scrum practice, remove roadblocks, and settle disputes.
• Track bottlenecks, work with managers and tech leads on mitigation plan
• Track all major Release progress to include multiple concurrent projects in development
• Track and schedule regular grooming and prioritization of product line backlogs
• Track project/sprint progress using Project Management Software

Profile

• 5+ years of industry experience in a technical or project manager role within Web Application development environment
• 3+ years of Agile practice experience with application development projects
• Experience within SaaS Project Management from a high growth, early-stage tech company
• Experience with Agile methodologies/Tools and Lean thinking
• Experience with SDLC at a SaaS product development team including CI/CD principles
• Expertise in microservices, QA, customer driven requirements development
• Expert knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Google Docs, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Power Point and Excel
• Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable with addressing team conflict and resolving communication or other problems within the project team
• Must be proactive and resourceful and seek solutions through stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration in driving consensus.
• B.Sc. degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
